Our Story
We’re Kaylee and Katie—two moms, former educators, and co-founders of Village Social Media, a social media management agency dedicated to empowering local businesses with the tools and support they need to thrive online while staying true to their community roots.
Our story started in the classroom, where we discovered we had more in common than lesson plans and late nights grading papers. From a shared love for sharing funny internet memes to the remarkable coincidence of having kids born just one day apart, we bonded fast.
Those sleepless nights led to countless conversations about life, family, and the challenges of managing everything at once. We leaned on each other then, and as our friendship grew, so did our passion for social media storytelling. It became clear: If we could support each other through midnight feedings and morning meetings, why not offer that same support to businesses trying to make their mark online?
Inspired by the saying, ‘It takes a village,’ we started Village Social Media to be the helping hand that local businesses need to thrive online. Whether it’s creating engaging content, managing your accounts, or strategizing for growth, we bring the same care and dedication to your business as we do to our families.
About Kaylee
Kaylee is a born creative. Starting new hobbies is her hobby! A true social media addict, she loves spending time studying trends and discovering new, unique ways to present content. Her two young kids keep her busy as a mom and fill her cup! Fun fact- she does not have the ability to “make a long story short”. It’s a good thing storytellers make good social media managers… She can’t wait to hear your brand’s story!
About Katie
With a background in teaching, Katie is passionate about helping others learn, grow, and spark their creativity. She is a proud mom to two girls, a fun 4-year-old and a sweet 3-month old, so family time is everything to her. Whether it's a cozy night watching movies, or traveling to new places, she loves making memories with loved ones. When she's not chasing little ones or exploring destinations, you'll find her balancing work, family, and fun. One unique fact: she cannot live without chapstick! She looks forward to building a relationship with your company and helping your business thrive.
